Can I Make Payment Using My Credit Card or Debit Card at the Retail Store? We currently do not have credit card terminal in the retail store. Payment is cash only.
Do You Provide Discount for Wedding / Event Planner or Hotel / Restaurant? We currently do not have discount program for Wedding / Event Planner or Hotel / Restaurant. However for second repeat order, we will give a certain percentage.
Do You Provide Full or Half Sponsorship for my College, School, University, Corporate Company, etc? We regret to inform that we are unable to provide full or half sponsorship. We are sorry about that.
If I Buy a Lot of Items in Bulk, Can I get a Free Gift? We regret to inform that we are unable to provide free gift.
Do You Give Out Free Sample? I Like a Certain Item, Can You Give Me One Sample to Show My Family, Fiance? All Samples can be purchased at retail price. We are unable to give free sample as all items are inventory listed in our database. You can purchase the sample and once you have confirm your order with us, you can send back the sample in good condition and we will refund you the sample purchase paid earlier. Take note that sample has to be in good condition to receive the full refund. It is only fair to us because if the returned sample is broken or incomplete or damage, we cannot resell it any longer.
The Wedding Cottage retail store business hours are from 11:00 am to 6:30 pm from Mondays to Saturdays. We are closed on Sunday and major public holidays such as Christmas, Chinese New Year & Hari Raya. Please check the homepage of our website or Wedding Cottage Facebook page for any current updates of closing day/time of the retail store.
What is the currency used?
All prices listed on www.weddingcottageonline.com are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) or locally known as Ringgit Malaysia (RM).
How do I place an order?
You are most welcome to visit our retail store to view the products during store operating hours. If the product is available in our retail showroom, you can cash & carry it back. If the item is not available at our retail store but it is at our warehouse located outside of the Klang Valley, we can arrange to have it deliver to our retail store within three (3) to five (5) working days.
What if I am not in KL or PJ area? How then do I place an order?
Let us know which product you would like to have and Whatsapp your enquiries/orders to +6012690 0439 / +6012690 0539 or Email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will check whether the product(s) is available or require pre-order. If we need to order the item, we require 1 and 1/2 months to 2 months for the stock to arrive.
Can I place orders by phone?
Yes, you may place your orders online or by phone (whatsapp)! Our personnel are available Monday through Saturday 11am to 6:30pm via Whatsapp +6012-6900439 or +6012-6900539 to place any orders or to answer your questions.
Do you have a minimum order requirement?
The Wedding Cottage has no minimum order requirement for most of our door gifts except Personalised item where there will be a minimum quantity order required. Please check the respective product information pages for details.
Do you offer samples?
You can order most of our item in quantities of one with the exception of personalized, edible or items sold in a set. You will be charged the unit retail price of the product sample(s). Quantity discount starts at 20 pcs and above. Courier/Shipping charges depends on location. We use GD Express to deliver our items.
How long does it take to receive my order?
Delivery depends on stock status of each individual product, therefore please check with us on the stock availability before confirming your order as some products runs out faster than others or that item may be temporary out of stock. Delivery will take about approximately 5 -9 working days in general for products that are available in stock at our warehouse located outside of the Klang Valley provided full payment has been made. We can only courier/ship the items out when full payment has been received.
If the product is completely out of stock, the delivery will take approximately 6 to 9 weeks. This is to allow time for production and shipment from overseas as well as custom clearance from Jabatan Kastam Malaysia. Do note that we are unable to control Kastam clearance. Delivery dates are counted from the date which we received payment either full payment or 70% deposit. An order is only confirmed if full payment or 70% deposit is made. Inquiries on products availability is not a confirm order. We are unable to reserve the product if no confirmation of payment is made as products is based on a first come, first served basis.
How do I change or cancel my order?
Once purchase order has been issued and the items has been ordered from our overseas factory, we regret that no refund can be made. We do hope you understand as once the item is shipped, we are unable to cancel the order as it is only fair to us as we have paid for the items on behalf to the overseas supplier and the product is on its way to Malaysia by ship.
Do the products come assembled?
Some products do not come pre-assembled. However do not let this minor detail deter you from buying your favourite product. We are more than happy to assist you with the assembling process with a small labour charge RM 0.50 cents for each product based on your quantity. For example, if you want us to fold 150 boxes, the labour charge is RM 0.50 cents x 150 pieces = RM 75.00.
Do You offer Personalised items?
Yes, we have a wide range of personalized and customized products. Feel free to send us your own design and we will assist you in preparing your unique gift. If you do not have any ideas at hand, just let us know what you have in mind and we will design it for you. Design fee for our in house designer is RM 80.00 only which is the cheapest and lowest in the entire Malaysia. Design fee can go up to RM 150.00 to RM 300.00 as we have surveyed.
Can I Pre-order a product that I like from your website?
Yes, we can order any product for you provided we can locate the items in China. However lead time for pre-order items is between 6 - 9 weeks.
What are my payment options?
(a) Cash in Retail Showroom
We only accept cash in the retail showroom at this moment. Credit card facilities is not available. We do apologize for the inconvenience caused.
(b) Inter-Bank Transfer

Please note that we will only process the order after the cheque is cleared or cash is deposited and reflected in the bank account.
(c) Cheque Payment
Cheque is only accepted for deposit payment at retail showroom. For balance payment, we require cash at the retail store.
What Are My Courier / Shipping Options?
Courier/Shipping charges are based on the weight of the products ordered. To determine the cost of the courier/shipping, kindly contact us. Most orders leave our showroom within 3 - 7 working business days (not including weekends) from the date of payment. Please estimate another 2 - 3 days for delivery time (Peninsular Malaysia). For outside Peninsular Malaysia, example East Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia etc, please allow additional days (estimate 5 - 9 days) due to clearance of Custom of Country's origin & destination which is beyond our control.
Example 1: Courier within Peninsula Malaysia Only.
Full payment made on January 1st (Mon). We will courier out either January 2nd (Tue), 3rd (Wed) or 4th (Thu). Let's supposed we courier out on January 4th (Thu), you should receive the items on January 5th (Fri) or January 6th (Sat) or the very latest January 8th (Mon). For destination to East Malaysia, please add additional 5 more days, estimate January 15th.
Example 2: Courier to International Destination
Full payment made on January 1st (Mon). We will courier out either January 2nd (Tue), 3rd (Wed) or 4th (Thu). Let's supposed we courier out on January 4th (Thu), Items should be at respective Country's Custom Department on January 23rd. From there on we are unable to control when custom will release the items to the Country's courier company. Nevertheless we will give you a tracking number for reference.
Note: The above is just a guideline. We cannot control how courier and custom speed of delivery/response.
For custom made and personalized items which are made to order, longer time are needed and we would like to advice that you place such order items at least 6 to 9 weeks before your event to avoid unnecessary heartaches and headaches.
Do You Ship Internationally?

What is shipping weight?
Shipping weight is the weight of the product and approximate weight of packaging material added together.
What is volumetric weight?
Volumetric weight is being charged when the space of the package takes up in a vehicle cost more than the package's actual weight. This is usually the case when a very light package is shipped in a large carton.
Volumetric weight (in kilograms) = Length (cm) x Width (cm) x Height (cm) / 5000
What Is The Policy Regarding Duties, Taxes and Brokerage Fees?
Your order total does not include, nor is Wedding Cottage responsible for the payment of any duties (customs tariffs), taxes and brokerage fees associated with the shipment; these costs are the sole responsibility of the customer. We strongly encourage you to research all country-specific facts, information and regulations prior to placing an order.
Return & Exchanges
What do I do with damaged, defective or missing products?
Before sending out the items, we will thoroughly go through every single product to check the condition of it. Once the item is handed to the courier/shipping company, we cannot be held responsible on the actions of the courier/shipping staff on how they handle the parcel(s). We will do our utmost best to inform them to handle with care as well as labeling/writing the word "Fragile" on the box but please note that we cannot be responsible for any damage, broken items, missing parcel or edible items being melted during the courier/shipping company's possession. Packing box is normal carton box without bubble wrap as we do not have bubble wrap service. We are unable to replace the item or do a refund due to the courier/shipping company's own negligence.
Note: Wedding Cottage Malaysia is not responsible for missing package(s), damage & broken item(s), missing parcel(s) or edible items melted resulting from errors made by the shipping carrier.
How Do I Cancel My Order?
Once purchase order has been issued and the item ordered from our overseas factory, we regret that No Refund Can Be Made should you wish to cancel the order. We do hope you understand as once the item is shipped, we are unable to cancel the order as it is only fair to us as we have paid for the items to the overseas factory on behalf of your good self using the first initial deposit you have made and the product is on its way by ship to Malaysia.
